  • The Club Piping Competition 2026 took place over 17th and 24th March.  Our congratulations go to Donald Morrison, Champion Piper, and all event winners.  Our appreciation goes to all competitors.  The results are here.

  • Glasgow Highland Club Annual Schools’ Pipe Band and Individual Piping and Drumming Competition took place on Sunday 22 February.  A review of the competition and the results are available here.
  • The Kettlewell Legacy to encourage junior piping  –  The Club is very grateful for the recent donation of the Kettlewell Legacy that will encourage and reward junior pipers (under 14) at the Annual Schools’ Competition  –  details are here.

Piping Practice Evenings are conducted both in person and using an on-line conference medium. These are held on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 (October to May) at The High School of Glasgow Pavilion, Old Anniesland.

Welcome to The Glasgow Highland Club

The aims of the Club are to:

  • Preserve the dance and music of the Highlands
  • Study the language, literature, history and antiquities of the Highlands
  • Encourage the wearing of Highland dress
